Air Replication Imports Talking longer between jobs

Hi Guys

I have a fairly unique issue where we're using NBU AIR to replicate images to DR. The images are replicating fine however we find that the time some of the take keeps getting longer and longs between imports. Is there any way to 'increase' the import job. The storage server performance seems ok, however it seems images start to import quickly at first and then 'slow down' after some time.

We also observe that small DB log backups seems to import a lot long than large jobs. This might just be due to the fact that there are more jobs to import.

the Jobs been running for almost 4 hours and is only 22% complete. Most images are 512KB in size:
