Netbackup client install fails on 64-bit Windows 2012 R2 Standard

Hi,

I'm trying to install netbackup 7.5 on a 64-bit client machine running windows 2012 R2  standard howver the installation is failing. On reviewing the installation error logfile , I found the error "Action ended 7:04:12: INSTALL. Return value 3.". I have tried the silent install but that too doesnt work. Any help in resolving this would be greatly appreciated.
