I have a backup job that's listed in the State column as Active with no State Details, no Status and a start time of a week ago. I've tried to cancel the job from the NetBackup Administration Console but nothing happens. The client was alive but would not respond to RDP or remote management of the services or "taskkill" across the network so the client was hard reset with a power cycle.
How can I remove the phantom Active job from the NetBackup Administration Console so my job can be re-run either manually or at the next scheduled interval?
master server: Symantec NetBackup Administration Console Version: 7.5.0.4. (Windows 2008 R2)
client: Symantec NetBackup Client Version: 7.1 (Windows 2003 R2, SP2)
