Dear All,

Thanks for your help in advance!

There was a customer need to run the NBU commands in NBU7.5 as a non-root users, but the bpps -x didn't return anything, the bppllist returns an error "user id was not superuser (140)".

Please reveiw the below situation:

groupadd -g 600 gzbk

useradd -m -u 602 -g gzbk gzbkadmin

chmod -R 775 /usr/openv/

chown -R  gzbkadmin:gzbk  /usr/openv

vi /usr/openv/java/auth.conf

susenbu:/ # cat /usr/openv/java/auth.conf

 gzbkadmin ADMIN=ALL JBP=ALL

* ADMIN=JBP JBP=ENDUSER+BU+ARC

gzbkadmin@susenbu:/usr/openv/netbackup/bin> ./bpps -a

NB Processes

------------

MM Processes

------------

------------

gzbkadmin@susenbu:/usr/openv/netbackup/bin> cd admincmd/

gzbkadmin@susenbu:/usr/openv/netbackup/bin/admincmd> ./bppllist -allpolicies -U

user id was not superuser (140)

For the record, I set up the NBAC by bpnbaz -setupmaster in my NBU 7.5, and I added the user gzbkadmin into NBU_Users, NBU_admin, NBU_operater group via the Java console. It successfully let the user "gzbkadmin" can review the policy, change the policy, mauanlly backup the catalog policy etc.

But still the user "gzbkadmin" can't run the bppllist, bpstulist, bpimagelist commands due to the error message "user id was not superuser (140)".

May I get your help to fix this problem? Thanks a lot for your assistance in advance!
