Unable to retrieve the version of the server

I have configured Access control on my master server and restart the service but whenever I try to access the administration console on the master server I am getting the error "Unable to retrieve the version of the server". The master server and media server are on the same server and the environment is not clustered. I am using NetBackup 7.5. Has anyone experieenced this issue before??
